All tickets must be purchased online by credit or debit card, or PayPal.

Purchasers must be 18 years or older. 

Only 20,000 tickets at $20 each will be sold.

All winners will be notified in writing. The first name, initial of the last name, suburb and winning ticket number of the main prize winner will be published online by 5pm on Wednesday 6 October 2021 on the Cancer Council WA Raffle website (digdeepraffle.com.au), Cancer Council WA website (www.cancerwa.asn.au) and the Cancer Council WA Facebook page (facebook.com/cancercouncilwestaus).

To claim a prize each winner must present documentation to meet the 100-point proof of identity. This equates to their current driver’s licence and passport or birth certificate. The winner must also provide their official winning raffle ticket in order to claim their prize. 

All times and dates published on our website, in our promotional material and in these terms and conditions are listed in Australian Western Standard Time (AWST) unless otherwise stated.


Raffle Proceeds

The net proceeds from Deep Dig Raffle tickets will be shared equally amongst Cancer Council WA and West Coast Eagles.

Proceeds received by Cancer Council WA will help fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and vital cancer support programs such as Cancer Council WA’s Wig Service, Accommodation Lodges, and 13 11 20 cancer information and support line. Proceeds received by West Coast Eagles will help fund community programs and initiatives across four key areas, charitable partnerships, grassroots football, schools and education and diversity programs. These initiatives help to develop and grow our national game, and improve educational and social outcomes among our youth by providing opportunities for leadership development, growth and wellbeing. Additional Donations

During the ticket purchasing process, purchasers may also elect to make an additional donation to Cancer Council WA on top of their ticket purchase. These additional donations are tax deductible and 100 per cent of each donation will go directly to Cancer Council WA.

Please note, raffle tickets are not tax-deductible.



The Promoter may use prize winners’ details for promotional purposes.  By entering the Promotion, the Main Prize Winner agrees to participate in reasonable media activities concerning the Promotion and to photographs or video of the winner being used for the Promoter’s marketing and promotional activities (both in print and on the internet).

Bonus Prize Details

There are two Bonus Prizes of an exclusive, money-can’t-buy Meet & Greet with a West Coast Eagles Player.

The winners have 48 hours from receiving our written notification to claim the prize. Prize is not exchangeable or redeemable for cash and must be accepted as awarded.

This prize entails an exclusive money can’t buy experience, meeting a West Coast Eagles AFL player at the West Coast Eagles club facilities.

The date and time of this experience is to be mutually agreed on based on player availability and is subject to AFL COVID Safe protocols. This experience must be redeemed within 6 months of winning, by Wednesday 20 April 2022. Any extension to redeem this experience must be agreed upon by West Coast Eagles Football Club.

Winners of the Bonus Prizes will be re-entered for the Main Prize.


Main Prize Details

$100,000 cash.

The winner will need to provide a copy of their bank statement outlining Account BSB, Account Number and Account name to West Coast Eagles Football Club. The funds will be transferred in Australian dollars to a bank account in the name of the winner by electronic funds transfer within seven (7) days of claiming.

The winner has 48 hours from receiving our written notification to claim the prize.


Conduct of draws

All prize draws will be conducted by executives of Cancer Council WA at its offices at Level 1, 420 Bagot Rd, Subiaco WA 6008.

Unclaimed prizes will be dealt with in accordance with the procedures set out in the Gaming and Wagering Commission Act 1987 (WA).



Refunds of tickets are generally not accepted. If a refund is endorsed by Cancer Council WA, the request will need written approval of the Gaming and Wagering Commission. This process may take a number of weeks. Refunds cannot be issued after the prize draws.



Where it is lawful to do so, these Terms and Conditions may be updated to address any errors or to clarify information and re-published online at digdeepraffle.com.au.



Excluded purchasers

Tickets must not be purchased by: Cancer Council WA, its board members, executive team members, and employees who have been involved in the organisation of the raffle, West Coast Eagles Football Club, its board members, executive team members, and employees who have been involved in the organisation of the raffle. During the conduct of a draw, if the Cancer Council WA CEO (or delegate) conducting the draw is satisfied that an excluded purchaser is a prize winner, then the relevant prize will be re-drawn. If the Cancer Council WA CEO (or delegate) is satisfied after the conclusion of the draw but before a prize has been collected that an excluded purchaser is a prize winner, then the excluded purchaser will not be entitled to collect the prize. The decision of the Cancer Council WA CEO (or delegate) will be final and binding.


Confirming winners

In the event that there is any doubt or dispute as to the identity of the winner or as to the manner in which the prize is to be paid then the matter will be referred to the Cancer Council WA CEO (or delegate) for resolution.

The decision of the CEO shall be final and binding. The CEO will not be acting as an arbitrator and the CEO’s decision shall not be subject to challenge or review.



By purchasing tickets and participating in the Dig Deep Raffle you are deemed to accept these Terms and Conditions.
