Purchasers must be West Australian residents aged 18 years or older.
Only 40,000 tickets at $5 each will be sold.
All winners will be notified in writing. The first name, initial of the last name, suburb and winning ticket number of all prize winners will be published online the next business day after the final major prize draw on the Cancer Council WA Raffle website (cancercouncilraffle.com.au) and Cancer Council WA Facebook page (facebook.com/cancercouncilwestaus).
To claim a prize each winner must present documentation to meet the 100-point proof of identity. This equates to their current driver’s licence and passport or birth certificate. The winner must also provide their official winning raffle ticket in order to claim their prize.
All times and dates published on our website, in our promotional material and in these Terms and Conditions are listed in Australian Western Standard Time (AWST) unless otherwise stated.
Publicity
The Promoter may use prize winners’ details for promotional purposes. By entering the Promotion, the Major Prize Winner agrees to participate in reasonable media activities concerning the Promotion and to photographs or video of the winner being used for the Promoter’s marketing and promotional activities (both in print and on the internet).

Early Bird Prize Details
There is one Early Bird Prize Draw: Seven x $2,000 (Total $14,000)
The winners must claim their prize as soon as possible by providing 100 points of certified ID to Cancer Council WA , a copy of their bank statement outlining Account BSB, Account Number and Account Name, certified ID and their official winning raffle ticket to Cancer Council WA. The funds will be transferred in Australian dollars to a bank account in the name of the winner by electronic funds transfer within seven (7) days of claiming.
All tickets purchased prior to 23:59, Wednesday 10 May 2023 will be included in the trade promotion lottery Early Bird draw. Winner of the Early Bird Prize will be re-entered into the Bonus Prize draw and the Main Prize Draw for the vehicle.
Bonus Prize Details
There is one Bonus Prize Draw: $20,000
The winners must claim their prize as soon as possible by providing 100 points of certified ID to Cancer Council WA , a copy of their bank statement outlining Account BSB, Account Number and Account Name, certified ID and their official winning raffle ticket to Cancer Council WA. The funds will be transferred in Australian dollars to a bank account in the name of the winner by electronic funds transfer within seven (7) days of claiming.
All tickets purchased prior to 23:59, Wednesday 24 May 2023 will be included in the trade promotion lottery Bonus draw. Winner of the Bonus Draw will be re-entered into the Main Prize Draw for the vehicle.
Main/First Prize Details
Toyota Corolla Cross 2.0L Hybrid valued at $50,000, $50,000 cash or Canada Family Ski Package.
Holiday package includes four premium economy seats for two adults and two children (2-11yrs) to Montreal flying Qantas, seven nights all-inclusive accommodation package at Club Med Quebec Charlevoix in a family suite (exclusive collection with river view), all ski gear, equipment and passes with return transfers. Travel is valid between December and March and is subject to availability. Total value $50,000.
The winner has 48 hours from receiving our written notification to confirm their choice of the Toyota Corolla Cross 2.0L Hybrid valued at $50,000, $50,000 cash or Canada Family Ski Package and claim the prize.
Should the winner choose to take the car instead of the cash or holiday package, the prize will be awarded as stated, one Toyota Corolla Cross 2.0L Hybrid.
The car awarded is new and unencumbered and will have all on-road costs paid, including the registration fee. The vehicle must be ordered and manufactured and delivery will depend on availability. There is currently an industry wide waiting period of six to nine months for vehicles to be delivered. The winner will need to arrange and pay for their own motor vehicle insurance costs. The winner is responsible for making arrangements to collect the car from the dealer at their own cost.
Should the winner choose to take the cash instead of the car or holiday, the winner will need to provide a copy of their bank statement outlining Account BSB, Account Number and Account Name to Cancer Council WA. The funds will be transferred in Australian dollars to a bank account in the name of the winner by electronic funds transfer within seven (7) days of claiming.
Should the winner choose to take the holiday instead of the car or cash, the winner will be awarded; a Canada Family Ski Package, including four premium economy seats for two adults and two children (2-11yrs) to Montreal flying Qantas, a seven night all-inclusive accommodation package at Club Med Quebec Charlevoix in a family suite (exclusive collection with river view), all ski gear, equipment and passes with return transfers. Travel is valid between December and March and is subject to availability. Total value $50,000.
The winner must respond as soon as possible once receiving our written notification to claim the prize, by providing 100 points of certified ID to Cancer Council WA and their official winning raffle ticket.
All tickets purchased prior to 23:59, Wednesday 7 June 2023 will be included in the trade promotion lottery Main Prize Draw.
Conduct of draws
All prize draws will be conducted by executives of Cancer Council WA at its offices at Level 1, 420 Bagot Rd, Subiaco WA 6008.
Unclaimed prizes will be dealt with in accordance with the procedures set out in the Gaming and Wagering Commission Act 1987 (WA).
Refunds
Refunds are generally not accepted. If a refund is endorsed by Cancer Council WA, the request will need written approval of the Gaming and Wagering Commission. This process may take several weeks. Refunds cannot be issued after the prize draws.
Changes
Where it is lawful to do so, these Terms and Conditions may be updated to address any errors or to clarify information and re-published online at cancercouncilraffle.com.au.
Purchasers
Excluded purchasers
Tickets must not be purchased by: Cancer Council WA, its board members, executive team members, and employees who have been involved in the organisation of the raffle. During the conduct of a draw, if the Cancer Council WA CEO (or delegate) conducting the draw is satisfied that an excluded purchaser is a prize winner, then the relevant prize will be re-drawn. If the Cancer Council WA CEO (or delegate) is satisfied after the conclusion of the draw but before a prize has been collected that an excluded purchaser is a prize winner, then the excluded purchaser will not be entitled to collect the prize. The decision of the Cancer Council WA CEO (or delegate) will be final and binding.
Confirming winners
In the event that there is any doubt or dispute as to the identity of the winner or as to the manner in which the prize is to be paid then the matter will be referred to the Cancer Council WA CEO (or delegate) for resolution.
The decision of the CEO shall be final and binding. The CEO will not be acting as an arbitrator and the CEO’s decision shall not be subject to challenge or review.
Acceptance
By participating in the Cancer Council WA Raffle you are deemed to accept these Terms and Conditions.
We need to collect personal information to process your purchase, verify you are over 18, notify you if you are a winner, communicate with you about other Cancer Council WA raffles and initiatives, and conduct normal business.
